The lessons are very beneficial and as I drive around doing my job I practice describing what I am doing in Spanish. Right now we are nearing the end of the "slow season" for code enforcement. For that reason I have taken every opportunity to go through the classes since I won't have so much time after the grass and weeds start growing. Hierba, cesped y hierbas malas son las palabras yo se por esas ahora. The alert words are very useful since I do not carry a weapon and need to know if my best move would be to request police officers as back up. Phrases like " Su comportamiento es inapropriado. No use ese tipo de lenguaje.", will be useful, too. Thank you for this unique class that helps us.
I must admit, I was a bit hesitant to start the course because I didn't think that I would learn much and that the material would not have anything to do with dispatch. I was wrong, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this a 10. I really enjoyed the course. I like the way it started out slow then progressed to sentences. I surprised myself at what words I already knew, so that helped. It is so true that if you don't practice and use it, you will not retain it. I like how it explained the he/she/those/these--very confusing, but I understand now. I printed the lessons, so I can make a book for myself to use when I need it. Thank you!
Chinese is a hard language to learn, but your course make it bearable. The games are a fun way to see if you are doing good. Will you come out with more games?
